First to market with Content Authoring Software for RealNetworks® new RealONE™ player.
Real Conference 2001, SEATTLE, WA, September 24, 2001 – sofTV.net Inc., a leader in streaming media software tools, today announced a major addition to its software solutions products for corporate users. sofTV.Presenter for Real™ enables users of RealNetworks technology to create video presentations with synchronized Microsoft PowerPoint® slides, in minutes. The product supports both the existing RealPlayer®, and the new RealONE™ Player released today in Seattle by RealNetworks.
Since the launch of its existing corporate software product line in spring of 2001, the company has acquired several Fortune 500 corporate clients. sofTV.net's existing toolset provides users the ability to create any type of HTML synchronized rich media content, for playback in a user's Internet Explorer or Netscape browser. Working with RealNetworks, sofTV.net succeeded in porting its existing sofTV.Presenter software product over to produce synchronized rich media content for playback in a user's RealPlayer. This new software unleashes the rich capabilities of SMIL and SMIL 2.0 to corporate and educational users, with an easy user interface that eliminates the need for coding.
