Multiple Enhancements Included in
Release of sofTV.Presenter™ v4.3

There are a variety of new features and enhancements in this version of sofTV.Presenter, further increasing its value to companies, organizations, and educational institutions as an affordable, easy-to-use streaming media tool for corporate communications, training, and distance learning.

sofTV.Presenter v4.3 addresses extensive user feedback and makes authoring streaming media presentations easier than ever through the following enhancements:

Facility to Add Triggers for Slides Within My Content Window – sofTV.Presenter now includes an option for inserting slide triggers by double-clicking slides within the “My Content” slide deck. This is useful for delivering ad hoc slideshow presentations through sofTV.TriggerMaker in combination with sofTV.Presenter.

Maintaining Aspect Ratio of RealMedia Videos During Playback – The aspect ratio is now maintained for .RM videos during viewing within built-in published templates.

New Saving Option When Recording a Live Presentation – When recording a live presentation, the user is now given the option (if the media file already exists) to save to a new file without overwriting the existing media file.

Setting for Saving a Live Recording is Maintained Across Multiple Sessions – If the option to save a live recording as an on-demand presentation is selected, this setting is now saved in the XML project file and reloaded when the project file is subsequently opened in sofTV.Presenter.

New Swap Template Available – sofTV.Presenter now includes an additional video swap template added called "DHTML - General 200 (Video Swap)".

Message Prompt When Deleting Publish Profiles – When deleting a publish profile from the Publish Presentation dialog, the user is now prompted with a confirmation message before deleting (to prevent accidental deletions of profiles).

Additional Fixes and Enhancements – This release of sofTV.Presenter also contains a variety of minor fixes and enhancements to resolve previously identified issues and improve overall performance, including full support for ASF audio/video files, resolution of minor issues with SCORM v1.2 compliance and Mozilla Firefox support, invoking the "Import My Content" dialog when clicking the "Add a new slide" button from the "My Content" pane, and more.
