New version of sofTV.Presenter features enhanced slide-importing capabilities with more support for third-party content matter, including PowerPoint, Flash, Images, Adobe PDF, Web Links, and many other types of files/documents.

There are several key new features in this version that greatly increase the versatility and usability of the sofTV.Presenter technology.
New features available in sofTV.Presenter v4.2 include the following:

Create Presentation Slides Using All Types of Content Matter – sofTV.Presenter v4.2 now goes beyond Microsoft PowerPoint in its support for presentation slide content. In sofTV.Presenter v4.2, all types of files can be imported as slides for the presentation. Developers may import PowerPoint slides, Flash animations, images (JPG and GIF), Adobe PDF documents, web page links, and links to any other type of electronic file or document. Therefore, users can now create live and on-demand presentations incorporating all types of content files.

Improved Interface – The application interface of sofTV.Presenter v4.2 has been redesigned and improved. The look and feel of the GUI has been updated with new color schemes, icons, and optimized component placements.

"Waiting Room" for Live Presentations – sofTV.Presenter v4.2 includes a "waiting room" feature for live presentations. The presenter may choose a streaming video to loop in advance of a live presentation. Prior to the start of the live presentation, the audience is greeted with a pre-selected waiting room video that plays in a looping cycle. Thus the users are given something to view (while waiting for the live event to begin) to indicate that the live event is imminent and will be starting soon. Once the encoder is started, the waiting room video is automatically stopped and replaced with the live streaming video.

Facility to Delete All Slide Triggers Simultaneously – In previous versions of sofTV.Presenter, the slide triggers for an on-demand presentation could only be deleted one at a time (which could be time consuming in a project with a large number of slide changes). However, in sofTV.Presenter v4.2, all slide triggers can be deleted from a project in a single instance by clicking the "Delete All" button in the Slide Manager (or by right-clicking the timeline and selecting "Delete All Triggers" from the shortcut menu).

Enhanced RealProducer Support – sofTV.Presenter v4.2 includes support for RealProducer 11. In addition, RealProducer 10 encoder levels are now shown during live and on-demand recordings.
