Activate and sofTV.net Join Forces
to provide end-to-end Webcasting Solution
Ottawa, October 27- Activate, a digital media infrastructure services company and sofTV.net, a leading-edge provider of streaming media Web development products and services, today announced an agreement that will allow both companies to expand their range of streaming media products and services. The cooperative efforts will enable Webcasters to easily enrich their visitor’s experience by creating Web sites that combine interactive HTML, advertising, chat and e-commerce with their streaming audio and video.
As part of the agreement, Activate will refer its clients with interactive Web development needs to sofTV.net. In turn, Activate will deliver broadband distribution of live events, 24x7 Webcasting, and on-demand replay of audio and video content for sofTV.net clients. The sofTV.MediaSuite software platform enables customers to provide a rich and dynamic interactive Web experience using streaming media technology. sofTV.MediaSuite features on-the-fly functionalities during live event Webcasts, including chat, advertisements and ecommerce features fully synchronized with the streaming video or audio.
